THE BUTTERFLY EFFECT...and how it can work for you

May 8, 2019

The term "Butterfly effect" comes from a metaphorical example of the details of a tornado (the exact time of formation, the exact path taken) being influenced by minor perturbations such as the flapping of the wings of a distant butterfly several weeks earlier.

We all know that every action, thought and behavior has a ripple effect. A small negative thought can often cause a huge breakdown in our life.

Have you ever wondered how a crisis in your life happened so suddenly?

Perhaps it was an unexpected breakup in a relationship, an outburst of anger, an act of betrayal, total loss of emotional control in a situation or the feeling of deep depression and hopelessness.

That was the tornado from the small flapping of your wings weeks or months or years ago.

Our thoughts, actions and behavior either derive either from fear or from love.

When you are NOT aligned with your highest purpose you are often coming from fear.

The truth is we all have fear to some degree. It could be just as simple as the fear of speaking up, the fear of being seen, the fear of going against the status quo, the fear of being rejected, the fear of being alone...

I have learned through the shamanic path to NOT give in to fear but rather move into fear. When fear shows up to look fear straight in the eye.

Now I dance with my fear.

Fear is a mobilizing force.

I do not run. I do not hide. I face fear full on as I know huge transformation lies on the other side.

When you feel fear....do it anyway,  then its power over you diminishes. When you feel that uncomfortable feeling...know that you have reached a barrier.
A barrier to love more. A barrier to receive more. A barrier to expansion.
A barrier to opportunities. A barrier to miracles.

On the other side of fear lies freedom.

By moving into your fears you are disrupting old programs, releasing old stories. This will be uncomfortable.

Your old self does not want you to change. Your old self will do anything in its power to keep you in your prison cell. Your old self will play all kind of tricks on you so you lose hope. Once you begin to second-guess yourself you will inevitably return to your old ways which weren’t working in the first place.

That’s why it’s so crucial to surround yourself with people who are on the same path as you are. It reinforces everything you are working toward, especially when life gets challenging.

Breathe into your fear.
Breathe out the fear and breathe in the love.

Trust in the process
Surrender to the unknown.

I've been there so many times..
It's scary but every time I took the leap and moved into fear, a new horizon opened up.
A bigger picture. A clearer vision.

Every time I decided to jump, my wings opened.

Only by jumping will you realize you have wings.

With divine love,

Sabina
